Amber Lee Harkonen (aka ‘goose’, to her nearest and dearest) was born with a gift for thrift, beginning by raiding her grandma’s closet and soon graduating to the second-hand shops of Montreal’s renowned plateau area. Often, she would tailor and customize the finds, creating unique new pieces to dazzle her friends. Amber’s eye for style led her to Toronto, Italy, Finland and New York as a fashion designer, merchandiser and stylist. Over the years she has maintained a reverence for fine textiles, fair trade, ethics and sustainability in fashion. She combines these passions in hi goose shoppe.

Our online shoppe is open 24/7 while our studio is open for style consultations by appointment only. If you would like to see us outside of our set hours, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Quality is our passion at hi goose shoppe. We take good care of every piece of clothing that comes through our studio and catalogue our inventory carefully to ensure that our valuable customers are presented with a carefully curated selection, tailored to their needs.
We find our clothing in several different ways. We truly enjoy the hunt for diamonds in the rough, therefore we search through second-hand clothing and thrift sources in the United States and Internationally to bring you the most unique assortment of vintage and second hand finds. Our sources include;
All of Hi Goose Shoppe’s curated finds are carefully cleaned and inspected before they make it to the Shoppe floor
Generally we ship within the United States, however if you are located abroad and see something you absolutely can’t live without, please send us an email at info@higoosevintage.com and we can discuss other shipping options.
Between 2 weeks and 2 days, you will be asked your shipping preference once you place your order.
Please get in touch with the appropriate shipping service (either USPS or FedEx) with your unique tracking number and send us an email as well, we’ll see if we can help you out.
While we accept the timely return of items in our Trunk packages, due to the delicate nature of our garments and the havoc shipping plays on the environment we do not accept returns unless they can be done in studio.
We try to provide the most intricate details of any flaws in our garment descriptions so that our customers can be fully prepared for the state of the garment they are purchasing and we hope that if you don’t love the garment you received, that the price was fair and you can find a friend or community member who will love that garment.
